We celebrated Hero Day at NEB on Friday. Mrs. Vanderpool’s class created and personally presented these wonderful pictures to their heroes!

We held our second PBIS virtual assembly at the elementary school! Our focus was on empathy, but we had a lot of fun activities to reward our students for showing PRIDE by being Prepared, being Respectful, showing Integrity, being Dedicated, and showing Empathy. In addition, we recognized our students who have demonstrated exceptional PRIDE throughout the marking period, as well as the year.

Reminder: PSSA's will resume tomorrow and Tuesday in 7th and 8th grade for Math and on Wednesday for 8th grade science. All students are asked to bring their personal or school issued calculators for the tests. Parents, please encourage all students to be well rested for their assessments. Thank you and we look forward to having another great week of testing!
Art Show
We are wrapping up the first three days of PSSA testing! The 7th and 8th graders did a wonderful job on the ELA assessment. We will resume testing next Monday and Tuesday with the Math PSSA and Wednesday with the Science PSSA. Please encourage your students to get rest and eat well prior to the test and to always try their best. Reminder, we do offer free breakfast and lunch for all students!
Jr. High and JV baseball/Softball games have been cancelled for tonight due to weather conditions. We will provide updates upon reschedule.
Mrs. Fry's class enjoyed popcorn and a movie after PSSA's.

Elementary Yearbooks are on sale now! If you are interested in purchasing a 2020-2021 yearbook, please send in the order form and payment of $13.00 to your students homeroom teacher. Last day to order will be April 29, 2021.
Colt Shores and his dog Lily won the NY youth coon hunting championship on Saturday night.
Tomorrow, April 20th, is the start of the Pennsylvania System of School Assessments for students in grades 3, 4, 5 and 6. PSSAs continue on April 21st & 22nd, as well as the following week on April 27th & 28th. Our fourth grade students take the science assessment on April 29th. Please help your child to be prepared for the PSSAs by getting a good night’s rest and attending school on time.
Reminder: Report cards have been given to students in grades 7-12 today. Please be sure to check in with your student to see their progress through quarter 3.
